“The best gift you can offer to your child is Catholic Education which develops the mind and forms the character. No child should be deprived of Catholic Education because of the lack of financial resources.”
— Rev. Msgr. Anthony Czarnecki, Headmaster

The Diocese of Worcester established a Tuition Assistance Fund in 2004 – to aid families of elementary and high school students in pursuing a Catholic education. This program provides substantial tuition assistance for those who qualify. The application process is handled through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment company, which provides solid analysis of key factors in the financial lives of families. Its customer service center is dedicated to personal service for the families they assist.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment conducts the financial needs analysis for Saint Joseph School.  Applicants needed to apply by March 1, 2019. Please check-back for the 2020-2021 deadline.  Applications can be found at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid as of January 1st. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment can also be reached at 1 (866) 315-9262 or by email at info@factsmgt.com.  (Please note that the application date changes each year.)

Failure to submit all the information by the deadline may result in your family not receiving aid or limit the amount given.

Saint Joseph School is committed to offering education to qualified students regardless of financial means.  Parish tuition assistance may be available for the students enrolled at St. Joseph School.  The amount is determined on a case to case basis.

It is important to note that applications for assistance are made annually.  Assistance is not automatically renewed.  Because a family’s situation can change from one year to the next, we ask that you file a financial aid application only if you can demonstrate need.

The following organizations offer scholarships:

  • St. Joseph Polish Women’s Club awards one $500 scholarship to a child of a member who is enrolled at St. Joseph School and two $500 scholarships towards the college education.
  • St. Joseph Basilica Knights of Columbus Council #12980 awards two $250 scholarships to children of members that are enrolled at St. Joseph School and one $500 scholarship to the St. Joseph School 8th grade graduate who will be attending a Catholic High School in the fall.
  • Msgr. Anthony Czarnecki offers a scholarship to graduating St. Joseph School students who will attend a Catholic High School.
  • St. Joseph School School is pleased to offer scholarships to qualifying students who are enrolled in grades 1 through 8.  A limited number of scholarships are awarded by the Finance Board to students who are in need of financial assistance.  The amount of the award is dependent on the number of qualifying students.  An application with supporting documentation is required.

You may request a subsidy from the parish to which you actively belong including St. Joseph Basilica.

The subsidy is not guaranteed and each parish may have its own conditions attached.
In order to be considered for the subsidy from St. Joseph Basilica, a family must be a registered member, regularly participate in Divine Worship, volunteer for the parish and financially support it.
The amount of the subsidy will be up to 75% of the family’s total contribution to the parish in the 12 months prior to the date of the subsidy request, and up to a maximum of $500 for the first child. Subsidy for siblings will be considered on individual basis.
Due to limited funds, we ask that only the families who are truly in need of the financial assistance apply for this subsidy.

You may find the Parish Subsidy Application HERE.

Please have the form signed by the pastor.
