On Sunday, October 26th, the Saint Joseph School community gathered for one of its favorite fall traditions — Trunk or Treat! Organized by the Saint Joseph School Home and School Association (H.S.A.), this year's event was a tremendous success and a joyful celebration of community spirit.
The school parking lot was transformed into a festive Halloween wonderland, featuring 30 creatively decorated trunks and an incredible turnout of students and families. From silly and spooky to clever and colorful, each trunk showcased the imagination and enthusiasm of Saint Joseph School families. Students from Pre-K through Grade 8 arrived in costume, excited to collect candy, see their friends, and admire the amazing decorations.
Special thanks go to H.S.A. Co-Chairpersons Pamela Parslow and Krystal Kolesnik, as well as event chairperson Agnes Buschle, whose leadership and organization made this afternoon possible. The event truly reflected the mission of the H.S.A. — to foster community, faith, and fun through family-centered activities that bring our school together. The school also extends heartfelt appreciation to all the families who donated candy, volunteered their time, or decorated trunks for the event.
Congratulations to the Noonan and Denert families, who received awards for Best Trunks — a well-deserved honor amid very tough competition, as every trunk was phenomenal!
It was a spooktacular afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit — a reminder of what makes Saint Joseph School such a special place. Events like Trunk or Treat continue to strengthen the bonds between families, students, and staff, making memories that will last well beyond the Halloween season.
