This is an important message regarding this week’s dismissal: February 2-6. Please read thoroughly.

After surveying the parking and sidewalks in the area, I feel it’s necessary to continue our alternate dismissal process. However, the dismissal times will change slightly.

Like last week, we are going to continue to allow parents to park in the school yard.  Similar to morning drop-off, please enter the school yard through the Lincoln Street entrance and exit onto Whitcomb Street.

If you have multiple students in the school.   Please follow the directions for your youngest child.

VERY IMPORTANT:  
PLEASE EXIT YOUR VEHICLE AND COME TO THE DOOR DESIGNATED BELOW.  DO NOT STAND AT YOUR VEHICLE AND YELL FOR YOUR STUDENT(S) TO COME TO YOU.

IN ADDITION, ONCE YOU RETURN TO YOUR CAR WITH YOUR STUDENT(S), PLEASE WAIT UNTIL CARS ARE LOADED AND PEOPLE ARE NOT WALKING THROUGH THE SCHOOL YARD BEFORE MOVING YOUR VEHICLE. PLEASE BE PATIENT.

DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY IF YOU HAVE A LATER DISMISSAL TIME.

2:10 PM DISMISSAL: PRE-K 3-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM, PRE-K 4-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM, KINDERGARTEN, & GRADE 1

  • ALL PreK students will be dismissed at the rear entrance of the school – as usual.
  • Students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 will be dismissed from the side entrance of the school – by the red cross walk.

2:20 DISMISSAL
Students in Grades 2-4 will be dismissed from the side entrance of the school – by the red cross walk – as usual.

2:30 DISMISSAL
Students in Grade 5-8 will be dismissed from the side entrance of the school – by the red cross walk – as usual.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Do not arrive early if you have a later dismissal time and do not have multiple children.
  • Wait until cars are loaded and people are not walking through the school yard before moving your vehicle.
  • Exit onto Whitcomb Street
