Congratulations to the 1–25 Club – 2026 Partners in Education Award
Saint Joseph School is proud to recognize the 1–25 Club as the recipient of this year’s Partners in Education Award, presented in appreciation for the organization’s longstanding dedication and support of the school.
Founded in 1976 by Monsignor Stanislaus Kubik—originally as the 1–20 Club—the organization was created to help offset the school’s winter heating costs while bringing members of the parish community together in fellowship. Over the years, the club has remained a cherished tradition, combining its weekly drawings and membership banquets with a shared commitment to supporting Catholic education at Saint Joseph School.
While the club’s primary mission has always been to provide financial assistance to the school, it has also fostered a strong sense of community. The gatherings and dinners have created opportunities for friendship and fellowship that have strengthened the bonds within our parish for nearly fifty years.
Saint Joseph School extends sincere gratitude to the many volunteers who have sustained the club through the years, including its early leaders: Theresa Jankowski, Constance Czechowski, Magdelan Gromelski Bibeau, Jo-Ann Canty, Elizabeth Meagher, Eleanor Noga, Patricia Parslow, and Theresa Wagner.
Today, the 1–25 Club continues to thrive under the leadership of Marlene Proulx (Director), Lorraine Biadasz (Co-Director), Sheryl Bergeron (Captain), and Barbara Kryger (Captain), along with the dedicated kitchen crew managed by Felicia Kolodziejczak and Jane Wilk, whose meals and hospitality have become a hallmark of the club’s gatherings.
We congratulate and thank the 1–25 Club for nearly five decades of generosity, fellowship, and unwavering support of Saint Joseph School. Your dedication continues to strengthen both our school and our parish community.
